Storytime!

Charlie and CJ met in late 1996, and it's been a great time since then... we're both into home remodeling and have had several project homes that have been challenging, exciting, and sometimes a huge pain in the butt. It's getting bad when the people who work at our favorite big box home stores know us by names and ask how the dogs are... Charlie is originally from East Tennessee, where he was in the real estate business for 20+ years with his family. After getting burned out on that, he owned his own trucking company for a while, which took him to Portland, OR.

CJ was born in Iowa, but spent most of his childhood moving around Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico after his parents separated. He joined the air force out of high school and had the great fortune to see lots of Europe, as well as a bit of Texas, Colorado, and Alaska. After leaving the service, CJ went to work for Intel in Portland.

When our two heros met, CJ had just started a job doing mask design, and Charlie was looking for a new career. He saw the high tech arena as an exciting challenge and went back to school to get his Elec Eng degree. Soon, Charlie joined CJ in the Mask Design profession.

In 2003, CJ and Charlie had an opportunity to move to Austin, TX with Intel. Austin is an amazing city, and the boys couldn't be happier!
